Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed the nation virtually on the occasion of World Environment Day and said that the country is moving ahead with a 'very clear roadmap' to protect the environment and tackle climate change. Speaking about the public moment - Mission LiFE i.e. Lifestyle for Environment, the Prime Minister highlighted that the mission is spreading a new consciousness about lifestyle changes to combat climate change. He said, 'Mission LiFE is equally important for the bright future of the entire humanity, for our future generations.'

Imagine if one billion people cut down their contribution, are responsible and conscious about their eco-friendly practices. Then this number can go down by 20 per cent.'
