Followers of Anna Hazare in a faceoff with the police after they were stopped from taking part in a rally to show their support for Anna Hazare in Mumbai.
In Bangalore, a counter has been set up at the Freedom Park, where people are signing up to be part of the India Against Corruption movement of which Mr Hazare is a leading light.
IT employees - 87,000 of 100,000 - have signed up to join the movement in Bangalore. Employees will take a break from work for an hour and gather at the Electronic City as a mark of support for the veteran activist.
