Kashmir Floods: Indian Army to the Rescue
Indian Army and Air Force troops worked through Sunday night to rescue thousands of people stranded across Kashmir, where over 150 people have been killed in landslides and the worst floods in six decades.

A total of 80 villages in the Valley have been provided assistance, food packets and medicines, Army spokesperson said. With thousands of people trapped on the second floor, third floor or on the rooftops, Army plans to continue the rescue operations even at night, the spokesman said.
