Leopard falls into water tank, rescued

A male leopard from a nearby jungle at Mahananda Wildlife sanctuary entered Haskhowa tea estate, which is 45 kms from Siliguri in West Bengal in search of water. The leopard slipped and fell into an open water reservoir tank. Sukna Forest rescue team rushed to the spot. The rescue operation lasted 30 minutes. The leopard then ran back to the jungle.
