As India went to polls in the third and largest phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha election, some of the country's political heavyweights also cast their vote. Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his vote in Ahmedabad today. "The weapon of terrorism is IED, the strength of democracy is a voter ID. I can say with certainty that the voter ID is much, much more powerful than an IED," he said in a message to voters today after he cast his vote.
