Maharashtra bus accident: Over 30 killed
Thirty seven people have been killed and more than 15 injured after a private bus they were travelling in fell off a bridge near Khed in Ratnagiri district in western Maharashtra. The driver is among the injured.

Thirty seven people have been killed and more than 15 injured after a private bus they were travelling in fell off a bridge near Khed in Ratnagiri district in western Maharashtra. The driver is among the injured. -
The bus was on its way from Goa to Mumbai. As the bus capsized, some of the passengers have sustained head injuries. -
According to the police, the accident happened after the driver lost control of the bus. The incident happened at around 2:30 am. -
There were some foreigners onboard; one Russian national has been rescued. -
The police is probing whether the driver was drunk; he has been subjected to a medical test.
