Major fire at Maharashtra Mantralaya

A fire broke out at the Maharashtra Mantralaya in Mumbai on Thursday. Three people died in the blaze. Their bodies were recovered from the building in the evening. At least eight people have been injured in the fire; two of them seriously. (NDTV picture)

The fire began on the fourth floor of the building at around 2:45 pm and reached the sixth floor where Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan's office is located.
