Rs 126 crores have been spent on upgrading Mumbai Police’s arsenal. Modern guns such as AK-47 assault rifles, MP-5 and MP-9 guns have been purchased among other equipment. Bomb detection equipment, bulletproof vehicles and speed boats to patrol the sea have also been added to the equipment list. (NDTV Photo)

39 first response teams across Mumbai have also been deployed and an National Security Guards hub has been created in Mumbai.
