Nation Pays Tribute to Rajiv Gandhi on 24th Death Anniversary
PM Modi was among many leaders who paid tributes to the former prime minister, Rajiv Gandhi, on his 24th death anniversary.
He was the seventh prime minister of India, the youngest to hold the position, who took office in 1984 following the assasination of Indira Gandhi. He was assasinated in a suicide attack in 1991.
