National Safety Science Quiz 2016: Bengaluru Students Participated In The Zonal Round
National Safety Science Quiz aspires to instill greater awareness on the need for safety practices in India. This unique endeavour, initiated in 2014 by UL, the global safety science leader, aims to inspire school students for a safer India. R.A Venkitachalam, Vice President, Public Safety Mission, UL, addressed the students at Zonal Round of National Safety Science Quiz 2016, held in Bengaluru.

Students from Class IX to XII from five metro zones across India - Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata participated in this zonal round. An interactive session with the participants was conducted during the event.

Sindhi High School, Hebbal and Delhi Public School, Bengaluru celebrated their success after qualifying for the National Finals of NSSQ 2016.

40 out of 44 registered schools participated in the written round and only top 6 teams were shortlisted from this round to compete in the on-stage round.

During the event, Varun H Trivedi, Head, Quality and Regulatory at Forus Health Pvt. Ltd. delivered a lecture to the students on eradicating preventable blindness.
