National Safety Science Quiz 2017: Meet The Teams That Cracked The Zonal Rounds

Over 100 teams from 10 different cities participated in the Zonal Rounds of the National Safety Science Quiz, 2017. Out of all the participants, 10 teams emerged as the winners, 10 teams ended up as runners up and 10 schools won the title of the Most Safety Smart School.

  • 127 teams from 64 schools fought it out in Bengaluru in the Zonal rounds. <br><br>

Out of 127 teams, Sucheth Hegde and Pavan B.S from St. Paul's English School emerged winners of the Bengaluru round. The winners were felicitated by the UL speaker Ashish Mathur alongwith the quiz master Kunal Svarkar. <br><br>

Ananya G. Upadhya and Varsha G. from Sri Kumaran Childrn's Home were the runner-up team, while St. Mary's English Medium School, Udupi showed maximum participation in the online rounds of NSSQ 2017 to clinch the title of the Most Safety Smart School from Bengaluru.

Mukund Choudhary and Priyanshi Tripathi from Krishna Public School, Raipur emerged winners after battling it out with 45 other teams.<br><br>

Bibhuti Bhusan Pradhan and Dibya Jyoti Tripathy from Guru Nanak Public School received the runner-up reward from UL Speakers Manjunath V and Monalisa Das and quiz master Rahil Sur.<br><br>

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khurdha Road won the title of the Most Safety Smart School.

Harsh Yadav and Adithya Nathan from Chettinad Vidyashram were the winners of the Chennai Zonals. They were felicitated by the UL speaker Srinivasa Desikan V. and the Quiz Master Meghavi.<br><br>

Jayanth N and Ankit. A from DAV Boys Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram grabbed the title of runner-up. Both the teams will now participate in NSSQ National Semi-Finals 2017.<br><br>
Maximum participation from Vaels International School, Injambakka helped them clinch the title of the Most Safety Smart School.

Students of Timpany Senior Secondary were adjudged winners of this Zonal Round and were honoured by UL speaker Tej Kumar Behara and quiz master Meghavi for making it to the next round. <br><br>

Assam Valley School, Balipara was successful in clinching the title of the Most Safety Smart School from Kolkata.

After a close fight in Zonal Round, Swapnil Srivastaava and Shashwat gupta bagged the top spot and emerged winners.<br><br>
Ritika Singh and Harshit Sehgal from Swaraj India Public School attained the runner-up position.<br><br>
