NDTV-Fortis Walkathon Flag Off Across India
NDTV-Fortis Walkathon kickstarted in seven cities and saw hundreds of people walking for the cause. The seven cities include Mumbai, Mohali, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Jaipur and Chennai.

Actor Rajkummar Rao joined the Walkathon flag off in Gurugramn and talked about the importance of organ donation. "In a nation of over a billion, the rate of organ donation is very very low and that's the reason causes like these are extremely important," he said.

More than 8000 people from all walks of life joined the Walkathon in Gurugram.

Renowned Squash player, Saurav Ghosal and Television personality Mohan Raman flagged off Walkathon in Chennai with approximately 500 people who joined them.

As many as 800 people from all walks of life joined in to raise awareness about organ donation in the Pink City.

Rajpal Singh, Former Indian Captain, India Hockey Team and Satinder Sartaaj, Singer, Song Writer, Actor & Poet flag off the 2.4km Walkathon in the the city of Mohali where more than 200 people showed up to join in.

Prakash Raj, Indian film actor and director kickstarted the walkathon in Bengaluru.

I have always been thinking about donating my eyes, but after coming here I want to donate other organs too. One can save up to 8 lives by donating organs. By doing these Walkathons we will raise awareness about this cause.
