The Times of India gives a 12-hour timeline of what happened since Tuesday morning, when Mr Chidambaram's lawyers approached the Supreme Court at 9:30 am, seeking an urgent hearing of his bail plea, to 9:45 pm when he was taken to the CBI headquarters.
