Hindustan Times: Reminding Bihar of what he called the Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) "Jungle Raj" marked by lawlessness, destruction and corruption, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday made a strong pitch for the re-election of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) "under the leadership of Nitish Kumar" in the upcoming assembly polls to create an Aatmanirbhar (self-reliant) Bihar. US-headquartered online retailer Amazon has refused to appear before Parliament's joint committee on the data protection bill next week, which could amount to a breach of parliamentary privilege, panel chairperson Meenakshi Lekhi said on Friday, indicating that action may be taken against the company.
