One killed in Himalaya House fire in Central Delhi
A fire broke out at 6.20 am this morning in the Himalaya House building in central Delhi.

A major fire has broken out on the third and fourth floor of the 12-storey Himalaya House building in Central Delhi. 21 fire engines were initially pressed into service but later 38 engines were brought in.

The fire department says they received a call at 6.20 am and rushed engines immediately.

One person who was on the fourth floor was killed in the blaze.

"The cause of the fire is yet unknown," the fire service official said.
