Online tributes to Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs changed the way we think, the way we see and the way we listen. A man with such a profound impact on our everyday lives, Jobs spearheaded a revolution like no other.

With his passing, tributes sprang up all across the world wide web.

The home page of apple.com honours their creator. It loads a simple obit placard...

...and these moving words appear when you click on it. Apple is also asking people to send in their thoughts and memories of their late mentor.

Google posts a link to Steve Jobs' obituary, a rare and, indeed, unique honour

Popular blog Boing Boing revamped their entire site to resemble Apple's first ever, 8-bit interface.

Wired magazine's website dedicated their entire homepage to Steve Jobs. The entire top section pays tribute to Silicon Valley's most famous resident.

The rest of wired.com features innumerable quotes by some of Jobs' colleagues and friends. Understandably, they are some of the most powerful men in the world.
