Part of hospital wing collapses in Bhopal

One wing of the Kasturba Gandhi Hospital in Bhopal collapsed on Friday evening. Ten people have been rescued and about 20 people, including patients, are feared trapped.

One person has been killed and 25 others injured.
Four people are seriously injured, but there are no reports of any casualties yet.
The incident occurred at around 5:30 this evening. The wing of the Kasturba Gandhi Hospital that collapsed also housed the surgical ward.

The Army is helping in rescue operations.
Locals have helped in pulling out people from the debris and more than half of those who were inside the building have been rescued.
