Parties Campaign Extensively Ahead Of Assembly Polls In Meghalaya, Nagaland And Tripura
As three north-eastern states - Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura - get ready to go for polls at the end of February 2018, national parties campaign extensively across the poll bound states. Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP Chief Amit Shah, Manik Sarkar, Former Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister were among many others who campaigned across the three states. Elections for Meghalaya is scheduled to be held on February 27. Tripura Assembly Elections will be held on February 18. Nagaland will go to polls on February 27. The results for all the three states will be announced on March 3.
