Politicians, celebs mourn Vilasrao Deshmukh on Twitter
Vilasrao Deshmukh, the man who had once famously said, 'I dream of turning Mumbai into a Shanghai' has died in hospital in Chennai. Mr Deshmukh, Science and Technology Minister, had been diagnosed with liver cancer. He was 67. Celebs and politicians took to Twitter to mourn the leader's death.
Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh: Mr Deshmukh was a trusted colleague and an able administrator who worked at Panchayat, State and Central levels with admirable dedication.
