Politicians, Sportsmen Vote In Delhi, Gurgaon In Phase 6 Of Lok Sabha Polls
Voters in Delhi lined up early on Sunday to cast their ballots in the sixth and penultimate phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. Elections are being across 59 constituencies across six states and Delhi. These include Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, Delhi and Jharkhand. The national capital recorded a turnout of over 7 per cent in the first two hours of polling, with North East Delhi recording maximum voting percentage among seven constituencies, poll officials said. Among those who exercised their franchise in Delhi were President Ram Nath Kovind, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

President Ram Nath Kovind went to polling booth number 10 within the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises on Sunday. This is the first time that President Kovind has exercised his voting right after taking over as the President of India in July 2017.
