Rashtriya POSHAN Maah (Prime Minister's Overarching Scheme for Holistic Nutrition), also known as the National Nutrition Mission, is celebrated in the month of September every year since 2018, with the aim to reduce undernutrition levels among children below six years of age, pregnant women, and lactating mothers.

‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah' was organised at the Golaghat district of Assam. The event witnessed the presence of Principal Secretary, Women and Child Development Department Shri Mukesh Chandra Sahu, Director Shri Bibash Chandra Modi, Golaghat District Commissioner and other dignitaries.

The inaugural programme of POSHAN Maah at the Anganwadi centre of Taisuru village in the Sanku Tehsil of Kargil District, Ladakh, started with the presence of the Child Development Project Officer, who educated women at on breastfeeding and complementary feeding.
