Prime Minister Manmohan Singh inaugurates Mumbai's brand-new airport terminal
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh inaugurated the state-of-the-art Terminal 2 or T2 at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai on Friday, January 10, 2014.
Mumbaikars will now drive into a swanky new airport instead of a rickety, slow drive to the old terminals. Under construction for about five years, the new terminal would make a lasting impression on travellers stepping into Mumbai.

T2 covers an area of over 1400 acres. Granite that can cover 27 football fields, and over 18000 metric tonnes of steel have been used in its construction.
