Prominent Personalities Exercise Franchise On Phase 2 Of Lok Sabha Polling
The second phase of the gigantic Lok Sabha elections today covered Assam, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Manipur, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Union Territory Puducherry. 38 Lok Sabha and 18 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu are voting today. Besides Tamil Nadu, polling was held in 14 seats in Karnataka, 10 in Maharashtra, eight in western Uttar Pradesh, five each in Assam, Bihar and Odisha. Three seats each in Chhattisgarh and West Bengal, two in Jammu and Kashmir and one seat each in Manipur and Puducherry were also part of phase 2 of Lok Sabha elections.
