In the lead-up to the country's 73rd Republic Day on January 26, a full-dress rehearsal took place at the annual parade venue at Rajpath in New Delhi today.
In a first, India will begin its Republic Day celebrations from January 23 instead of January 24 this year, in order to include Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's birth anniversary.
The Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, clad in full uniform and accompanied by their respective bands, were seen rehearsing their traditional march past.
