On Sunday, August 25, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor joined a protest march against the gang-rape of a 22-year-old photojournalist in Mumbai.

Ahead of the march, Sonam tweeted: Lets fight back! Be there at joggers park, bandra today at 5pm to protest against the brutality towards women. Ill be there to support it!
Sonam was surrounded by a sea of protestors, many holding up slogans that read ‘shame shame' and ‘justice delayed justice denied.'
‘Shame' was the prevailing sentiment expressed by the protestors.

The five men arrested for the gang-rape of the young photographer in the heart of Mumbai will be tried by a fast-track court, the state government has said.
