All-Round Afghanistan Thrash Namibia By 62 Runs

Pacers Hamid Hassan and Naveen-ul-Haq shared six wickets between them in impressive bowling spells as Afghanistan crushed Namibia by 62 runs in their Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup 2021 on Sunday.

Mohammad Shahzad top-scored for Afghanistan with his 45-run knock vs Namibia. He also became the first player from Afghanistan to score 2000 runs in T20Is.

Asghar Afghan, who was playing his last international match, scored a quickfire 31 that guided Afghanistan to a total of 160/5.
Jan Nichol Loftie-Eaton was the best bowler for Namibia with figures of 2/21 in four overs.
Naveen-ul-Haq picked three top-order wickets to put early pressure on Namibia. He was also the player of the match for his splendid bowling performance against Namibia.

Afghanistan fast bowler Hamid Hassan, who was playing his first T20I in five years, returned with figures of 3/9 in four overs.
