Terrorists attack police station, army camp in Jammu and Kashmir

Terrorists dressed in army fatigues killed at least 12 people in a police station and an Army cantonment in Jammu and Kashmir. Over a dozen are injured and more casualties are feared.

At the camp, they reportedly walked into the officer's mess shouting jihadi slogans and killed at least five unarmed Armymen, including the Lt Col, who was the second in command of the 16 Cavalry, the armoured corp unit attacked today. The Lieutenant Colonel was reportedly shot in the stomach at point back range.

There was reportedly much confusion and chaos at the cantonment as the terrorists were dressed in Army uniform. The commanding officer of 16 Cavalry is among over a dozen people injured in the two attacks.
