The hard fought Delhi Elections was a clash of many big names. Fortunes of many leaders like Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Ajay Maken, Manish Shisodia, Jagdish Mukhi, Sharmistha Mukherjee and Kiran Walia, was sealed by Delhi's verdict.

Arvind Kejriwal swept Delhi with his party's slogan Paanch saal Kejriwal. He won from the New Delhi constituency by defeating BJP's Nupur Sharma and Congress' Kiran Walia who got only 4,781 votes.

BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi lost from Krishna Nagar, which was considered to be a 'safe seat' for the BJP.

Ajay Maken from Congress lost by over 50,000 votes to AAP's Som Dutt from the Sadar Bazar seat. Congress failed to open its account in the Delhi Elections.

BJP's Jagdish Mukhi lost to AAP's Rajesh Rishi from Janakpuri.

BJP's Vinod Kumar Binny lost to AAP's Manish Sisodia in East Delhi's Patparganj constituency.

AAP's Somnath Bharti won the Malviya Nagar seat. He defeated BJP's Dr Nandani Sharma.

Saurabh Bharadwaj from AAP won the Greater Kailash seat. He defeated Congress' Sharmistha Mukherjee.

Congress' Haroon Yusuf lost to AAP's Imran Hussain from Ballimaran.

Alka Lamba, AAP: Won from Chandni Chowk.

Krishna Tirath, BJP: Lost from Patel Nagar.

Rakhi Bidlan, AAP: Won from Mangol Puri.

The only three BJP candidates who survived the AAP tsunami were Vijender Gupta, Om Prakash Sharma and Jagdish Pradhan. The Congress scored a duck for the first time.
