Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and BJP president Amit Shah flagged her pre-poll tour 'Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra' from the Charbhujanath temple in Rajsamand district on August 4. The 58-day tour was aimed at seeking people's mandate in the Assembly elections scheduled to be held on December 7. The rally rolled through 165 assembly constituencies of the state. The yatra 'rath' was a modified Leyland 407 bus, replete with air conditioning, a bathroom and an elevator. A sunroof allowed the Chief Minister to address public meetings from the bus itself.
