Violence spread through the Old City with crowds pelting stones at each other near the tourist landmark of the Charminar mosque.
With the situation going out of control following the stabbing of one person at Moghulpura, the police had no other option but to impose the night curfew.(AP photo) -
"We have intensified patrolling in lanes and by-lanes in curfew-affected areas where communal clashes took place during the last three days," Hyderabad City Police Commissioner A K Khan said.
