World Environment Day is the United Nations' flagship day for promoting worldwide awareness and action for the environment. Every year the world joins hands and celebrates the day on June 5 with a unique theme, calling for joint efforts to protect the environment. The theme for World Environment Day 2020 is ‘biodiversity' and Colombia in partnership with Germany will host the day this year.
In order to create awareness about the need to protect the mother Earth, ahead of the World Environment Day, actor Bhumi Pednekar has started the initiative #OneWishForTheEarth. Rebuild Nature By Planting Trees: Akshay Kumar
