A rainy morning greeted Delhiites on Thursday with many of them on way to schools and offices getting drenched even as vehicles moved at a slower pace due to water logging in many areas. Your photos.

The monsoon is here and while it brings the much awaited respite from the scorching summer heat, it also exposes the chinks in our country's infrastructure.
Roads cave-in and waterlogging afflicts almost all major roads, leading to traffic snarls across cities. Be it the maintenance of roads and sewers or, as in the case of Delhi, the large amount of rubble from the frenetic pre-Commonwealth Games construction all over the city, that is creating problems for the people.
Thursday morning's rain paralysed the Capital, leaving hundreds stranded on the waterlogged roads. NDTV viewers have sent us telling pictures of how a spell of rain can lay bare all claims of Delhi being a city with World Class Infrastructure.

We left the airport at 11:10. At 11:25 we got stuck at Dhaula Kuan. Reached AIIMS at 11:45. Jammed.
Changed direction towards Lodhi road. 12:15 got stuck at Nizammuddin. Turned back @ 12:30 to IIC. Starving, had lunch. 1:40 headed for Lodhi flyover. Jam.
2:00 Turned back thru Golf links and on Zakir Hussain for Ashram. 2:10 pm Jam @ Humayum's tomb backed up on the Oberoi flyover. 2:24 reached the turning for Nizamuddin Station.
Anyone taking a train from here should give themselves and extra hour.
