47 two-wheelers reduced to ashes in fire in Pune

Pune: At least 47 two-wheelers were gutted in fire at a parking lot in Kothrud area in Pune, police said on Tuesday.

"At least 47 two-wheelers were reduced to the ashes in fire at the parking lot of Trimurti Heights housing society in Gujarat colony late last night," assistant police inspector Devidas Wanjale said.

The cause of the blaze was yet to be ascertained; he said adding that a nearby shop was also burnt into the inferno.

A case has been filed in this regard, Wanjale said, adding that a probe was on.
