Pune:
A convict in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, lodged at the Yerawada jail in Pune, died in the prison hospital on Wednesday, officials said.
Mohammed Pavale, who was suffering from pulmonary hypertension and undergoing treatment, died last night, they said.
The 50-year-old convict from Mumbai was serving life sentence for his involvement in the bomb blasts that took place near Shiv Sena Bhawan and Air India building on March 12, 1993.
He had earlier also been treated for his ailment in the government Sassoon Hospital for a week and brought back to the jail on September 1, officials added.
