Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is planning to start a 3D theatre to show custom-made mythological and entertainment movies.
The 30-seat simulated reality theatre is proposed to be built at the Yashwantrao Chavan garden in Sahakarnagar. Civic officials said Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore have such theatres.
The PMC will carry out the civil works and the remaining works will be done by Premier World Technology. The Rs1.94-crore proposal has been tabled before the standing committee.
