Pune:
A 23-year-old youth died on the spot and four others sustained serious injuries after two dumpers collided head-on at Moshi on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Vishnu Indradev Sahagupta of Bhosari. The injured, Vinod Shivshankar Gupta (21) of Bhosari, Dinesh Srikant Singh (35), Samadhan Tanaji Wakule (38) both residents of Moshi, and Jagannath Alkunde (42) of Khed taluka, have been admitted to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital.
The police said Sahagupta and the other victims work as labourers in Moshi.
On Tuesday morning, the deceased and the victims were going in a dumper to Bhosari when another speeding dumper coming from the opposite direction collided with it.
