10 killed as a car collides with goods carrier

Belgaum: Ten people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a car and a goods carrier at Nippani town in the district.

Eight people died on the spot while two succumbed to injuries at a hospital, police said.

The injured have been hospitalised. The victims were on their way to Goa after a trip to the pilgrim town of Shirdi when the mishap occurred, police added.
