Thrissur:
Ten Plays have been selected for the Kerala Sangeetha Natak Akademi's professional drama competition for 2011.
Akademi's secretary Dr PV Krishnan Nair told newsman that the selection was made from 33 scripts.
The selected dramas are:
Kothamoori: Valluvand Brahma, Thrissur
Nizhalkoothu: Souparnika, Thirunanathapuram
Paavam Manushyan: Sagar Communications, Kozhikode
Perunthachan: Valluvand Naadam Malappuram
Mathilerikanni: Kozhikode Sagerthana, Kozhikode
Mathilerikanni: Aksharamala, Thiruvananthapuram
Mrakkan Marannoru Ratri: Sahithi Theatres, Thirunanathapuram
Mazhameghaproavukal: Anjali, Angamali
Varthamanathilekkoru Kannaki: Rangabhasha, Kozhikode
Sudhikalasam: Kerala Pople's Arts club, Kayamkulam.
The competitions would be held from May 21 to 31 Nair added.
