Dindigul (Tamil Nadu): At least 15 peacocks were found dead at Kaveripattinam in Dindigul district on Monday, forest officials said.
It is suspected that the birds could have been poisoned because they damaged farm crops while foraying for food.
The carcasses have been seized and sent for post-mortem, the officials added.
