Kottayam:
Twenty passengers were injured in an accident involving a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus and a private bus at Kolani-Chunghom route in Thodupuzha in Idukki district on Friday.
The KSRTC 'superfast' bus was proceeding towards Thiruvananthapuram from Kattapana while the private vehicle from Koothattukulam to Thodupuzha, police said.
Traffic on the route was affected for over an hour.
The injured were given treatment at two private hospitals in Thodupuzha.
