Salem: A 20-year-old man hailing from West Bengal died after his hands were severed in an accident at a cardboard factory, 16 km from Salem, police said on Thursday.
Madhan Kodhai was pushing cardboard into the pressing machine when his hands were caught in the machine and got severed, sources said.
He succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
