Bangalore:
A 27-year-old man has been arrested from Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old woman and her 10-year-old son on May 3 near Bangalore, police said on Monday.
During investigation, it was revealed that the woman had left her previous husband and was living with the man, Thangamani, along with her two children for the past 7 years.
Recently, she got acquainted with another man and allegedly starting having an affair with him, a police release said.
This led to a heated argument between Thangamani and the woman following which he allegedly strangled her and her son to death and fled to Tiruvannamalai, it added.
