Salem, Tamil Nadu: Twenty nine passengers, including 17 women, were injured when a speeding private bus capsized while negotiating a curve in the district on Monday, police said.
The bus operating between Mecheri and Eriyur was carrying 67 passengers when the driver lost control at Rettaikenaru, police said.
The injured have been admitted to Salem, Mecheri and Mettur Government hospitals.
Bus driver Ramesh was arrested, police added.
