Bengaluru: Four persons were killed and two others injured in a multiple collision after a city bus went out of control and dashed against a goods auto on a flyover here tonight, police said.
As the driver lost control, the bus hit the median and collided head-on with the auto, setting off a chain of accidents as 3-4 two-wheelers rammed into the rear side of the goods vehicle on the Lingarajpuram flyover.
"Four people died on the spot after the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus crashed into the goods auto coming in the opposite direction," Traffic Assistant Commissioner of Police (East Division) SA Pasha told PTI here.
Two persons in the auto and two others riding the two-wheelers died on the spot, he said.
Two others were badly injured and had been admitted to a private hospital, he added.
