4000 appear for police recruitment exam

Erode: Amid tight security, 4050 candidates on Sunday took the Police recruitment examination conducted at the Vellalar College for Women in Erode.

Heavy police pickets were posted in and around the campus to avert any malpractice in the examination.

After the examination, the answer papers were sent to Chennai with tight security, police said.
