Coimbatore: A 44-year-old man, hailing from Gobichettipalayam in Erode district, died of swine flu in the Government Hospital in Coimbatore on Tuesday, hospital sources said.
Saravanan was admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore a few days ago and after it was confirmed he had symptoms of the flu, he was shifted to the Government hospital, early on Tuesday.
However, he died in the evening without responding to treatment, hospital sources said.
