Salem: 45 people, including 25 women, were injured when their bus was involved in a collision with two sand-laden lorries near Salem in Tamil Nadu today, police said.
The mishap occurred around 3.30 am when the bus, carrying a betrothal party, was returning to Dharmapuri from Virudhachalam.
Police said the driver of the bus was trying to overtake a lorry and hit the sand-laden lorry.
The injured have been hospitalised.
