Guntur (Andhra Pradesh): Five persons, including two women, of a marriage party were killed and 15 others injured when their tractor-trolley overturned at Sattenapalli town near Guntur on Sunday this morning, police said.
The mishap occurred at Sattenapalli, around 40 kms from here, when the tractor driver, in a bid to avoid collision with a truck lost control of his vehicle.
The injured were admitted to Sattenapalli government hospital while those seriously wounded were rushed to the Government General Hospital at Guntur.
The victims were proceeding to attend the wedding, scheduled at Sattenapalli on Sunday afternoon.
