60 foot church bell cum tower inaugurated

Salem: A 60 foot high bell cum tower was inaugurated on Tuesday at a church in Salem by Rev M Baskaran, retired bishop of Vellore diocese.

The Salem steel plant pastorate of Coimbatore diocese constructed the bell in the front portion of the church, sources said.

Bishop Baskaran urged the faithful to be role models by giving to the needy the support they need through education and medical aid.
