Chennai:
Actor Balamurali Mohan, who was seen in many advertisements and a couple of Tamil films, was found dead in his residence, police said on Thursday.
The 54-year-old actor is believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence at Purasawalkam, they said. The body was found by the actor's wife, police added.
No suicide note has been found so far.
Mohan acted in "Boys" and "Allithandha Vaanam". His son is settled in the United States.
Police have begun investigations into his death.
